KENNETH A. SEUFERT

I was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 25, 1951.  I attended Rockhurst High School and graduated in 1969.  I attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree cum laude in Forestry in 1973.

I attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City Law School and obtained a Juris Doctorate with distinction in December of 1976.  I was licensed in 1977.

I first practiced in Viburnum, Missouri from 1977 to 1979.  From 1979 to the present, I have practiced law in Farmington, Missouri.  In 1979, I was appointed a Special Assistant Public Defender, and in 1980, I was appointed Public Defender of the 24th Judicial Circuit.  Also in 1980, I incorporated Meramec Area Legal Aid Corporation, and I served as its first interim director.  I opened my private practice of law in Farmington, Missouri in 1983.  I have practiced in Farmington ever since.  My law practice deals primarily with workers' compensation, personal injury, wrongful death, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and civil trial practice.  I emphasize trial work and not paperwork.

I presently reside in St. Francois County, and I am married to Susan Lee Seufert.
